Basic Pistol Level 2

Service Description

This course is a live fire training only. There will be NO classroom portion for this course. Instead, students will begin and end the day on the range. Building upon the foundations built in the Basic pistol 101 course, students will be challenged by learning how to work through malfunctions, stoppages and other unexpected problems that may occur during an armed encounter. Students will become familiar with tactical and emergency reloads, while engaging multiple targets either in the open or from behind a simulated barrier. This is not a concealed carry class. Students will be drawing from an open carry or duty holster. Students wishing to attend this class must first complete the concealed carry course or the basic pistol course prior to the scheduled start dates of this course. Upon completion of the course, students will be given a certificate suitable for hanging. What you will need: Pistol in good working order Holster (OWB) either level one or two retention is acceptable Ammunition (150-250 rounds) the more the better. Eye/Ear protection Clothing appropriate for the weather Sharpie or large felt marker Notepad/Pen for taking notes An open mind and a willingness to learn.
